Thank you all so much for helping to make our holiday
in Oolong house so unforgettable. We loved everything about it
and felt truly priveleged to see so much of real Bali life at
such close quarters. The setting is amazing - so peaceful but
surrounded by so much of interest. How glad we were that the
hotels we tried to book in Sanur were fully booked!
The manager Wayan was superb - efficient, friendly and full of
humour. Nothing was too much trouble. He organised some
wonderful drivers too - particularly Wayan who waited for us for
6 hours when we became a little lost on a stunning forest walk -
quite an experience! The girls who cleaned and cooked for us
were delightful - always polite and smiling and everyone we met
was happy to help us to understand their fascinating culture. We
saw, did and learnt so much - it was one of our best ever
holidays. We certainly hope to return - there is still more to
see and we now feel that we have some real Balinese friends.

Hi Jack,
I just wanted to let you know that we have had a wonderful holiday in Bali.
We felt that we got a real 'taste' of daily life at Lodtundah. We enjoyed
walks amongst the roosters, dogs and lively children of the village and the
children flew kites and trekked through the rice paddies like locals. They
thoroughly enjoyed their proximity to nature and the work of village life
and soaked up Bali culture and Bahasa like magic sponges.
Wayan was a very courteous and safe driver and took us to many fun places: a
farm at Bedugul where we picked strawberries, the tree tops at Botanical
Gardens (twice!), Padang Bai, kite flying, Sanur beach, Monkey
Forest.......we were never stuck for something to do! I will recommend him
to any of our friends traveling to Bali.
We also enjoyed the T-house compound which was very relaxing and beautifully
situated. The kids loved the pool which we visited on a daily basis and grew
very fond of Kamantha House. I love how nature is incorporated into the
building structures at T-house and the sense of connection this creates
between both.
We managed to spend two nights at the Bloo Lagoon at Padang Bai before we
left - the scenery there was breathtakingly beautiful. I heard through the
grapevine that you also have a house there - rice paddies and turquoise
seas - the best of both worlds. I can appreciate how much you must enjoy
both properties when you return to Bali.
Despite our two week stay we feel that we have plenty more to discover in
Bali and will be back.

and I had a fabulous time in Bali –
everything was exceptional! You were right
about the Balinese being a beautiful people.
We really loved the fact that we were in Lodtuduh,
and not in some high rise on the beach. The
mornings at T
House were especially lovely - Putu, Kadek,
and Wayan took very good care of us, and manager
Wayan made sure that everything was comfortable
and efficient. We enjoyed all the time we
spent with Wayan - he was an excellent host!
He was very generous with his time and even
sent us back home with several gifts. Agung
was an outstanding driver - he drove us to
the coast for snorkeling and around Batur.
Thank you for sharing your lovely home with
us. Fred was a fan of Buckminster Fuller many
years ago, and one of his friends lived in
a geodesic dome, so it was such a treat to
be part of your extended philosophy, even
if it was just for a week. I know we will
be return to Bali in one day!
If we would get some type of financial windfall,
we would love to be part of your community.
I know the song says, "I left my heart
in San Francisco," but Fred and I know
we left it in Bali.

Dear Tina, Marita and Tony,
Nikky look on internet easily you web site
and we failing in love immediately the place
and the citation 5 minutes by car to ubub, it very convenient place .
We arrived a the Tony's house, all was perfect
the staff was there and they immediately take
care of us . .
Wwe rent the Marita's house one month, front of the rice paddy.. so nice so beautiful
peace full place.
We had the next day the
chaise longuer and all was perfect .
TONY & MARITA INVITED US FOR A DINNER. AND we enjoy 100 % the diner!
if you have one opportunity to go Tony &
Marita house, please go there 100 % safe and
care. I hope I will send my self my family
and Japanese friend one day. because I want
to share that small paradise .... !!!! |

bonjour c est M&N de paris
nous somme aller chez tony et marita en juin
2005 pour un mois de vacance. Nous avons
trouver sur internet et immédiatement
nous somme tomber amoureux du coin. 5 minutes
d UBUD, les maisons sont toutes en bois
avec un style Japonais. Les chambres a l
étage magnifique. moustiquaire bien
sur les sdb son a ciel ouvert et les cuisine
sont toute équipées il y 7 petite
maison disposée dans 15 000 m2, toutes
sont a louer. A semaine au mois. Vous pouvez
faire confiance a tina la manager Balinaise. A Bali les gens sont très honnête
il n y a pas de mauvais karma. Je vous recommande cette endroit et vous
pouvez réserver en toute sécurité.
